
John Loos
Biography
John was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where, even as a young child,
he enjoyed listening to 50's rock and most especially "Elvis".
As a
teenager, he would stand in front of a mirror or a video
camera and
practice singing and dancing like "Elvis".
In his early 20's John began to perform for various audiences and
his talent has
grown from there. John began singing with a band in Cheyenne for local
business establishments. Through the years he has made appearances
from Las Vegas to Collingwood, Ontario for group functions,
contests and local charities.
In the past year John has won many "Elvis" contests in Canada,
Colorado, Las
Vegas, and Nashville. He has performed in
Blackhawk, Colorado, and
Cheyenne, Wyoming as well as participated in events sponsored by "The
Elvis Connection", an Elvis Fan Club, out of Denver,Colorado. Audiences
John has performed for have ranges from 100 people to over
18,000 people.
Comments on John's recent performances have been seen at the
Ladyluckmusic.com on their radio news show and in the Denver Rocky
Mountain News. Ladyluck news stated, "John Loos is from Cheyenne
Wyoming. He put on a deadly fantastic show" and the Rocky Mountain
News said, "…about eight to 10 Elvis impersonators vie to be King of the
hill. And those who keep a close eye on all of them say Cheyenne's
John Loos wears the unofficial crown."
John's dream is to carry on the legend of "Elvis" by using his
gifted talents.
